I am wanting to buy this phone (http://cgi.ebay.com/SAMSUNG-SGH-A737-SLIDER-CELL-PHONE-CINGULAR-AT-T-LIME_W0QQitemZ180404317764QQcmdZViewItemQQptZCell_Phones?hash=item2a00ef6e44) as well as buy a poor prepaid phone, as well as turn upon a prepaid SIM upon a poor prepaid phone, as well as afterwards put a sim in a Samsung A737. Will this work? The ad says it is sealed to ATT, though which shouldn’t make a difference since we am regulating an ATT SIM, right? Thank we for your time.

Not really. Not if it is the new orange /white gophone sim. It self locks to whatever phone it is activated on for six months. If you activate the sim in the phone you want to use from the start, it will work. But you are still stuck for half a year. If your phone breaks, good luck with the now orphaned sim. You would have to call Att CS to have them fix it .

It will work putting a pre paid sim into a contract phone becasue you are paying the phone off.

If you buy a pre paid phone and then put a contract sim in there it will not work unless it is the same provider for both sim and pre paid phone (for example both the pre paid phone and the contract sim must be with telstra)

Happy phoning/texting

Yes, just switch the sim cards.
